Membership
The GON has following four categories of Members:
1. CORPORATE MEMBERS:
Any corporation, firm or
business directly in the office business centres industry may
apply for Membership.
A Corporate Member shall have the right to receive the
GON’s publications and to nominate at any time one (1)
individual person as its nominee by notice in writing given to
the Secretary.
Any nominee of a Corporate Member, if approved by the
Board of Directors, shall be known as a Corporate Nominee and
may use the facilities of the GON and attend its Functions in
all respects as if he were an Individual Member.
A Corporate Nominee may also be an Individual Member
provided that a Corporate Nominee, who is himself a Voting
Member, shall only have one vote at all times.
A Corporate Member shall have the right to receive
notice of all General Meetings of the GON and, through its
Corporate Nominee, to attend the same, to vote, propose
resolutions and move amendments thereat.
All regulations of the GON shall apply to each
Corporate Member and its Corporate Nominee. Each Corporate Member and its Corporate Nominee shall be
jointly and severally responsible for payment of the joining
fee and yearly subscription fee and for all amounts properly
entered on the account of the Corporate Member.
2. INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS:
An individual person engaged in the office business centres
industry will upon his admission by the Board of Directors to
the GON be an Individual Member.
An Individual Member shall have the right to receive
the GON’s publications, use the facilities of the GON,
attend its Functions in all respects, receive notice of all
General Meetings of the GON, and to attend the same, to vote,
propose resolutions and move amendments thereat.
An Individual Member shall be responsible for payment
of the joining fee and yearly subscription fee and for all
amounts properly entered on the account of the Individual
Member.
3. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS:
Any corporate, firm, business or an individual person not in
the office business centres industry may apply for Associate
Membership. An Associate Members shall be entitled to receive the GON’s
publications, use the facilities of the GON and to enjoy all
the privileges of Members but shall not have voting right in
any General Meeting of the GON.
An Associate Member shall be responsible for payment of
the joining fee and yearly subscription fee and for all
amounts properly entered on the account of the Associate
Member.
4. HONORARY MEMBERS: The
Board of Directors has the power of inviting any person, that
is in the opinion of the Board worthy of such distinction by
reason of its position or dignity or services rendered to the
GON or any other reason deemed important for that purposes, to
become an Honorary Member of the GON. An Honorary Member shall be entitled to receive the GON’s
publications, use all the facilities of the GON and to enjoy
all the privileges of Members but shall not be required to pay
any joining fee or yearly subscription.
An Honorary Member shall neither have the right to
participate in the management of the affairs of the GON nor
have the voting right in any General Meeting of the GON.
If any yearly subscription
fee due or any other amount is due by any Member to the GON
and remains unpaid after the expiration of a period of two (2)
months from the due date for payment, the Board of Directors
has an absolute right to expel the member from the GON without
further notice
